ESKAN VILLAGE

THE NM BORDER AND SCHOOL HOUSE AT ESKAN VILLAGE

Damn, somebody got confused. This is the NM border and the school house at Eskan Village, it's said that General Norman Schwarzkopf won the Gulf War from here. My fire team was chosen to provide security for visiting dignitaries conducting a survey for the Pentagon. The inside looked like a battle staff, with a hugh picture of General Schwarzkopf on the wall. There was lots of reminiscence of the war lurking around. The Political aids and advisors instructed us not take any photos



My first trip to Saudi was a vacation Eskan Village an oasis in the desert. We had running water, individual rooms with plush beds, kitchens and bathrooms with flush toilets. Not much action there mostly guarding intelligence facilities and personnel. Some referred to it as the Betty Ford clinic and man I thought I had it made. This tour is a cake walk, and it was.
